Training + Development

Training + Development provides training and service development to mental health providers and community agencies across Australia and overseas. This program offers a range of training services to promote the understanding of mental health and mental illness, and to highlight the importance of early detection and treatment. The training services areinformed by the clinical, research, and training expertise of Orygen Youth Health. Training and service development is available at a metropolitan, state and national level for community, education and health organisations.

Training & Development is comprised of three sub programs:

Graduate Education : distance education courses through the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne in conjunction with Orygen Youth Health. Orygen Youth Health Training Services : youth mental health training to the community sector including: schools, primary care providers, and community agencies. Please see attached our current calendar

EPPIC Statewide : early psychosis education, consultation, and development support to mental health services in Victoria and around Australia
