Orygen Youth Health Training Services

Orygen Youth Health Training Services offer a range of workshops that promote greater understanding of youth mental health issues and mental illness in young people.  These workshops are designed for the community sector, thus schools, youth services, vocational organisations, and sporting groups, among many more. 

OYH Training Services offer:

• Orygen Youth Health Training Services Calendar; a central training calendar that covers a variety of topics, ranging from what is mental illness, to how to create opportunities for change in a young person's life

• Responding to Self Harm in Schools; a series of workshops that focus exclusively on the issue of self harm behaviour. Self harm behaviour is increasingly prevalent among young people and it is important that school communities feel confident in the assessment and management of self harm issues

• Customised Training; training can be developed for individual groups/orgnasiations to ensure it meet specific learning objectives and targets the appropriate skill level of the audience
