Headsmart
The headsmart project combines a universal depression education program, specifically designed for young people in the school community with a selective screening component, which together aim to improve the recognition of depression, to reduce the stigma associated with depression and to promote appropriate help-seeking whilst also identifying any young people already at risk and referring them for appropriate help.
Each school project is 3 years in duration but has been developed with sustainability in mind to alow the schools to continue the project
